About
Got an idea? Let's ship it.
IDEA is hosting Ship IDEA, a special Rutgers co-working day for students participating in (or curious about) Shipaton, one of the world's largest global hackathons for builders. Shipaton is all about turning ideas into reality, whether you're starting something new, refining an existing project, or finally making progress on an idea that's been sitting in your notes app for months. There are no required themes or problem statements, just an opportunity to build something you're genuinely excited about.
Whether you're creating an app, exploring a startup concept, designing a user experience, developing a game, advancing a social impact project, or simply looking for a creative community to work alongside, Ship IDEA provides the space and support to make meaningful progress.
Drop in for focused work time, collaboration, idea sharing, and access to a supportive environment where you can connect with other students interested in technology, entrepreneurship, design, and innovation.
No team? No problem. No coding experience? Still welcome. Bring your laptop, your curiosity, and your idea, and we'll provide the space and community to help you move it forward.
Along the way, enjoy free food, games, giveaways, and chances to win prizes while meeting fellow innovators from across Rutgers. Whether you're looking to launch your next big idea, find collaborators, or simply spend the day creating something new, Ship IDEA is your place to build, connect, and have fun.
