Volunteer Appreciation Week: Bookmarks and Big Dreams

Crafts 🤝 poetry 🤝 main character energy

Join Student Volunteer Engagement, Scarlet Arts Rx, and the Office of Disability Services for an afternoon where creativity meets doing good 🎨📖

We’ll be making bookmarks for Reading Partners (aka helping young readers in Newark level up their book game 💪📚)

📝 Poetry Workshop: 2:30–3:15pm
✨ Special Guest Alyea Pierce will guide you through unlocking your creativity and self-expression (yes, you are a poet now)

Come for the crafts & stay for the poetry!

Special Thanks to the State Theatre New Jersey's Artist-in-Residence Program!
